After building a long-term relationship with this Southampton-based client and undertaking the fit out of their commercial canteen earlier in the year, Foursquare Workspace were recently contacted again to see if we could develop a new breakout area for employees.

Plan

The client was looking for a new seating and breakout area that complemented their brand and the style of the new canteen. After meeting to discuss the client’s ideas and thoughts, our design team created a range of stunning 3D renders and visuals to encapsulate their vision.

Works

Initial works carried out by our installation team included the replacement of flooring and the addition of carpet tiles to the banquette and soft seating areas, along with full painting and decoration to freshen up the walls.

We incorporated a new wall and screen to separate the soft seating area and added the same quirky geometric manifestations to the windows that were used in the canteen.

All previous furniture was replaced, making way for contemporary back-to-back booths and fixed tables, under window benches and bright, glossy seating. Sofas have been added to the soft seating area, finished in colours to match the company’s branding.

Result

The finished result is a bright, spacious area for staff to enjoy. Each element of the design ultimately reflects the client’s brand and has breathed life into a previously dated area.
